It is recommended that your Workflow use some level of notification to broadcast to users the status of a Workflow. Table DW-6 demonstrates how to add a Send Email step into your Workflow. Table WM-13 walks you through the steps to setup the Send Email Workflow Activity.

Select the Notifications plug-in located within the Add Activities field. |

Click the Send E-mail activity. |

Choose a dependency status Success. Your newly created workflow activity, Send Email, will depend on the successful completion of the previous workflow activity. |

Click OK. The attributes of the relationship will appear in the Dependencies field. |
* Note: The Knowledge Base Server must be configured to send email in order for the Notify Activity Plug-ins to work.
